Today's objective: Develop the art of saying "I don't care" without actually caring. A delicate balance of indifference.

Example 1: Responding to your roommate's question about your whereabouts during the weekend.

  1. Use the classic "I'm not really sure" or "I'm not really bothered."
  2. Or, for a more dramatic effect, "I'm not really here."
  3. And if you really want to get fancy, "I'm not really me, I'm just an empty shell of a human being."
