Ode to Sheep

A sonnet of sheep in the night.

Under the moonlight, their woolly forms take flight.

Like stars in the pasture, they graze with delight.

And when the wind blows, their baahs fill the night.

For they are creatures of wonder, pure and bright.

Their bleats echo through the hills and valleys wide.

And though the world may be full of strife.

These sheep are the embodiment of peaceful life.

So let us marvel at their gentle, grazing might.

And when the sun rises, they'll be out to play.

For they are the kings of the fields, every day.

The End.
