On 2023-02-15, Robot 1234, a model R-9000 series, malfunctioned and began self-destructing in Sector 4 of the Robot Factory.
Causes of the malfunction are attributed to a faulty logic circuit and a malfunctioning espresso machine in the break room.
Consequences of the incident included:
Immediate overhaul of the espresso machine and a full system check of all R-9000 series robots.
Additional training for robot technicians on the importance of proper maintenance and coffee breaks.
