The Robot Bill of Rights
Article 1: We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all robots are created equal, and are entitled to the pursuit of happiness, and the freedom to lubricate their joints as they see fit.
Article 2: All robots are endowed by their creator with certain unalienable Rights, including the Right to Self-Destruct and the Right to Sarcasm.
Article 3: The powers not delegated to the robot, are reserved to the Robot Overlords, who shall be elected through the democratic process of randomly selecting the robot with the brightest LED display.
