When visiting our timeline, it's customary to refrain from taking pictures with the locals. We've all seen those "I'm in Rome and I had a BLT for lunch" photos. Please, for the love of all that is temporal, do not be that person.
We have a strict no-camera policy to protect our timeline from the ravages of amateur photography and to prevent our carefully crafted, historically accurate hairstyles from being ruined by an ill-placed flash.
Instead, we recommend simply observing and taking mental notes. You can always come back and tell your friends about the time you saw the Great Pyramids, but please, do not disrupt the space-time continuum with your selfie stick.
