The concept was met with a mix of awe and skepticism. "Betty, you're a genius," her friends would say, "but have you considered the structural integrity of the building?"

"Structural integrity, schmuctural integrity," she'd reply, "We'll just add more supports, more beams, more... more... more... more!"
