The Theory of Chaos

A Treatise on the Art of Making a Mess

By Betty Brilliant Furniture Arranging

According to the ancient art of Neo-Brutalist Furniture Arranging, the theory of chaos is a state of being where the furniture is in a constant state of flux, much like the universe itself.

It is a state of being where the sofa is on the bed, and the bed is on the floor. Where the coffee table is in the kitchen, and the kitchen table is in the living room.

Where the rules of physics no longer apply, and the laws of gravity are merely suggestions. Where the only constant is the constant state of bewilderment that comes with it.

It is a state of being where the furniture is a reflection of the human soul, a manifestation of our deepest fears and desires.

And so, if you're feeling lost, and your living room is in a state of utter disarray, do not fear. For in the words of the great Betty Brilliant Furniture Arranging, "Chaos is just a state of mind, or rather, a state of furniture."
