Dear fellow mathematicians, I write to you today with great enthusiasm and a healthy dose of skepticism. I have been pondering the nature of prime numbers and their relationship to the universe.
As you know, I have dedicated my life to the pursuit of finding a proof for the Last Theorem. Alas, I fear I may be getting close to the truth, and it is not a truth I am comfortable sharing.
In any case, I must confess that I have been having a delightful time reading through the works of my esteemed colleagues, particularly the treatises of that scoundrel, Pierre-Simon de Laplace.
I look forward to hearing your thoughts on the matter.
