Chapter 42: The Ancient Ones

And lo, the Ancient Ones didst create the Bonsai-Bible, a sacred text of great power and wisdom.

They didst inscribe it with their own blood and tears, and it didst grant them the power to control the very fabric of reality.

But the Ancient Ones didst also create a rival text, the Anti-Bonsai, which didst bring darkness and despair to the land.

Thus, the Bonsai-Bible was born, a beacon of hope in a world beset on all sides by the forces of darkness.

And so, the Ancient Ones didst entrust the Bonsai-Bible to the care of their most trusted servants, the Bonsai-Brothers, who didst guard it with their lives.

But the Bonsai-Brothers didst grow complacent and corrupt, and the Bonsai-Bible didst fall into the hands of the unworthy.

And so, the world didst plunge into darkness, and the people didst forget the ways of the Ancient Ones.

But fear not, for the Bonsai-Bible doth live on, a testament to the power of the Ancient Ones and their sacred text.

For in the words of the Bonsai-Brothers themselves, "The Bonsai-Bible is not just a book, but a way of life."
