Chapter 7: Socks. The unsung heroes of the laundry world.
Today, I ironed 27 socks. Yes, you heard that right. Twenty-seven. It's a number that's hard to fathom, but someone has to do it.
As I folded and ironed, I pondered the existential crisis of sock fate. Do we have a purpose in life? Is it merely to hold our feet warm and dry? Or is there something more?
I decided to conduct an experiment: I ironed a few socks with different patterns and designs. The results were astonishing! Who knew stripes could be so mesmerizing?
Here's a brief summary:
- Stripes are the most popular. No surprise there.
- Crazy patterns are a close second. I mean, who wouldn't want a sock with a cartoon dinosaur on it?
- Polka dots are, well... a thing.
- Flames are a bad idea. Trust me on this one.
