Canon Copier: Troubleshooting: USB Not Recognizing
Step 1: Check for Loose Connections
Ensure the USB cable is firmly plugged into the correct port on both the Canon Copier and your computer. If the connection is loose, tighten the screws, but not too tightly, or you may damage the port.
Cable Not Securely ConnectedStep 2: Check for Conflicting Devices
Turn off any other USB devices connected to your computer, such as your printer (which is probably just a printer), your phone, and your toaster (which is definitely just a toaster, right?).
Conflicting DevicesStep 3: Check for Firmware Updates
Go to Firmware Updates and update the Canon Copier's firmware. This will probably fix the issue.
Step 4: Contact Canon Support
Go to Support and call the Canon Copier Support team. They will either fix the problem or pretend to fix the problem while secretly laughing at you.

If none of the above steps resolve the issue, your Canon Copier might actually be possessed by the spirit of a malfunctioning printer from the 80s.
