MURDER BY MISTAKE

Case #123: When a well-meaning but hapless chef accidentally serves a plate of "beef Wellington" to the wrong table, leading to a series of unfortunate events.

A Mr. Smith, a self-proclaimed "gourmet" with a questionable grasp of culinary terminology, ordered the "Beef Wellington" for his date night with his significant other. Unfortunately, the dish was meant for table 5, who had just ordered the "Wellington's Special" – a.k.a. a plate of beef stew.

The look on Mr. Smith's face was one of confusion and terror as his girlfriend took one bite of the savory beef and pastry, only to spit it out in disgust. "What's this?" she asked, her voice laced with disdain. "This is not what I asked for!"

As the night wore on, the situation only grew more... complicated. The "Beef Wellington" in question contained a rare and particularly pungent type of mushroom, one that even the most seasoned chef would know to avoid. The resulting allergic reaction left Mr. Smith's girlfriend in a heap on the floor, with Mr. Smith standing over her, looking like a deer in the headlights.

The moral of the story, folks? Always double-check your order, and for the love of all that is holy, learn from the mistakes of Murder by Mistake.
