It all started on a fateful day in the year 3000, when our hero, a hapless office drone named Bob, tried to order a latte at the local coffee shop.
But, in his haste, Bob's fingers slipped and he tapped the screen with an errant thumb, unleashing a chain reaction of errors that would change the course of history.
The coffee shop's ancient touch-screen, once a proud stalwart of the early 21st century, had been upgraded with a "new" interface, designed by the "experts" at "Bland & Co."
Little did Bob know, this was only Phase 1 of a long and painful journey, one that would take him to the farthest reaches of the digital abyss.
