Catering Staff - Lila's Favourite Places: Sunset Watching Spot

Lila's Favourite Places is a series of articles showcasing the most unlikely, yet somehow endearing places on Earth that only the catering staff at InterGalactic Catering Services know about.

Today, we're featuring the Sunset Watching Spot, a hidden gem on the outskirts of Sector 7, known for its breathtaking views of the binary sunset over the space horizon.

Getting There:

  • Take the Gravity Lift from Sector 6 to Sector 7
  • Walk 3.14 kilometers due east until you reach the large, rusted out, space-helmet-shaped marker
  • Climb the 4-meter high, steep, metal ladder
  • Proceed with caution, as the viewing platform is slippery and prone to gravitational waves

What to Expect:

  • A stunning view of the binary sunset, complete with vibrant hues of magenta and chartreuse
  • A 30% chance of experiencing gravitational waves causing your stomach to drop
  • A 10% chance of spotting a stray asteroid

Insider Tips:

  • Bring snacks. The snacks at the on-site vending machines are overpriced and of poor quality
  • Don't forget your parka. It gets chilly when the sun dips below the horizon
  • Don't even think about asking for a selfie with the sun. The photographer is on strike

That's all for today's installment of Lila's Favourite Places. Stay tuned for the next one, where we'll be featuring the "Lost and Found" in Sector 9!
