If it's Monday, and it's raining, and the cat is sleeping, and the dog is barking, and the sun is shining:

• Then do the thing, but only if the thing is on sale.
• Unless the thing is on fire, in which case do the opposite.
• Unless the fire is also on sale, in which case do the thing, but with a 50% discount.
