Harmony in Color

Colors don't exist in a vacuum, they're like the notes of a symphony, each one a necessary part of the whole. But what does it mean to be in harmony with the colors of the world?

Let's start with the basics: the color wheel. Imagine a big ol' wheel of colors, each one a different note in the grand symphony of color.

Monochromatic harmony: the art of using different shades of the same color to create a cohesive look.

Analogous color harmony: selecting colors that are next to each other on the color wheel.

Complimentary colors: the colors directly opposite each other on the color wheel.

And then, of course, there's chaos harmony. Because sometimes, you just wanna throw a bunch of colors together and see what happens.

But what about color harmony in the wild? How do artists, designers, and everyday folks use color to create beautiful works of art?

Stay tuned for our next post, where we'll explore color harmony in nature!
