Match Structure
In the Committee Foosball League, matches are minimalist in design, yet maximal in intensity.
Each match is structured as follows:
ประก
- Four players compete: The Challenger, The Challenger's Challenger, The Challenger's Challenger's Challenger, and The Neutral Third Party.
- The Neutral Third Party is chosen by a random algorithm that takes into account the number of times The Challenger's Challenger's Challenger has eaten too much nachos in the break room.
- Players take turns playing foosball, with each player taking 3 minutes to play 5 ball-in-play cycles.
- A 5-minute break is observed between each player's 3 minutes, during which The Neutral Third Party attempts to mediate disputes and prevent The Challenger's Challenger's Challenger from eating too much nachos.
- A player's score is based on the number of points earned during their 15 minutes of playtime, minus any points deducted for excessive nacho-eating.
For example, if The Challenger earns 10 points during their 15 minutes, but is docked 2 points for eating 5 nachos during the break, their score would be 8 points.
