In the wake of a recent donut shortage, the Committee for the Advancement of Donut-Related Emergencies has approved an emergency funding package for the immediate procurement of 1000 dozen donuts.
These donuts will be stored in the Council's emergency donut cache, a fortified, climate-controlled bunker beneath the city's main donut shop.
Each councilor has been allotted 5 donuts per year, with a 3-donut per quarter stipend for those with confirmed gluten intolerance.
