It was supposed to be a routine meeting, but things took a turn when the committee member's cat, Mr. Whiskers minimalist chic coffee table sculpture fell off the table and shattered into 37 pieces.
The committee member, known for their love of artisanal everything, was devastated and spent the rest of the meeting in a funk, occasionally shouting "My art! My beautiful, delicate art!" as the others tried to comfort them.
The meeting ended with a 3-hour debate on the best way to dispose of the broken sculpture: donate to the local museum, throw it in the dumpster, or attempt a delicate, avant-garde reassembly.
