Paradoxes of the Plain English Committee (Sub-Committee 5: 1000)

The 5th sub-committee of the Committee of Conundrums is tasked with investigating the intricacies of the Plain English paradox, where "Plain English" is not so plain after all.

Our research has led us to conclude that the phrase "I'm not going to say it out loud" is, in fact, a statement that is being said out loud. This paradox has been observed to cause spontaneous combustion in 7 out of 10 test subjects.

We are currently studying the implications of this phenomenon and are working on a solution, which we have dubbed "The Great Clarification Project".
