Step 1: Identify the fitted sheet as a rectangle, not as a portal to another dimension.
Step 2: Place the sheet flat on a surface, ideally not your cat's favorite nap spot.
Step 3: Fold the sheet in thirds, but only if you're feeling fancy. Otherwise, just fold it in halves.
