It all started when Bertrand, in a shocking display of disloyalty, secretly met with representatives of the rival Committee of Conundrums-Adjacent to discuss the theft of our prized "Conundrum-in-the-Middle" document.
The Committee, blindsided by this treachery, was left reeling. "How could this have happened?" exclaimed Chairperson Punsley. "We trusted Bertrand with our most sensitive information."
