After weeks of speculation and rumors, the Committee for the Preservation of Intergalien Life (CPIL) is pleased to announce that a Kraken sighting has been confirmed in the depths of the Mariana Trench.
We are thrilled to report that the creature, described as a gargantuan, tentacled beast with a penchant for squid ink and bad poetry, has been spotted by a team of brave and intrepid explorers.
The sighting was made possible by a combination of advanced sonar technology and a can of tuna.
We are currently working to establish communication with the Kraken, but so far, it has only responded with a dismissive flick of the tentacle.
For more information, please see our Press Kit for a comprehensive guide to the sighting and its implications.
Stay tuned for further updates, and remember: when it comes to Krakens, you can never be too cautious.
