Their voice, once so clear and commanding, had been reduced to a mere whisper, echoing off the cold, unforgiving walls.
As they wandered, the Prophet's eyes adjusted to the dim light, and they spotted a figure in the distance. It was a figure from their past, one who had been lost for many a year. "Ah, it's you!" the Prophet exclaimed, their voice barely above a whisper.
But as they approached, they realized it was not their old friend, but rather a doppelganger created from the echoes of their own voice. The doppelganger's words were like a dagger to the Prophet's heart: "You should have spoken up when you still had the chance, Prophet." The Prophet's heart sank, and their voice sank with it.
