Established in 1956 to deal with matters of utter frivolity and non-sequiturs, the Secretariat of Absurdity has a long history of making things more complicated.

Our department is responsible for:

• Issuing memos about nothing in particular
• Creating policies that are intentionally obtuse
• Providing counsel on the best way to waste taxpayer dollars
