The Grand Committee of Conundrums held its 14th meeting in a series of increasingly confusing meetings.
- Chairman Punsley opened the meeting at 3:45 PM, 5 minutes after it was supposed to start.
- Vice-Chairwoman Punsley-Smythe pointed out that the refreshments were, in fact, not refreshments, but merely "re-energies".
- The committee discussed the meaning of "42" for 2 hours and 14 minutes, ultimately deciding it was "42-ness" that mattered.
- Member-at-Large, Balthazar, was overheard whispering to himself, "Is this the dawning of a new era?"
