Dr. Paradox, renowned for his ability to confuse and confound, is a leading expert in the field of theoretical physics. His research has been described as "utterly incomprehensible" by his peers and " marginally less confusing" by his students.
His subcommittee, tasked with reconciling the irreconcilable ideas of quantum mechanics and classical physics, has been stuck in an infinite loop of discussions and debate for years.
Meetings of the subcommittee are held bi-weekly in a dimly lit, echoey chamber deep beneath the city's sewer system. The meetings are always accompanied by a faint smell of despair and the sound of distant sirens.
If you're interested in joining the subcommittee, please send your application, a 5,000 page thesis, and a strongly-worded letter explaining why you're not completely lost in the first paragraph.
Chair: Dr. Paradox Theoretical Physicist
Location: Sub-Basement Level 3, Department of Incomprehensible Ideas
Meetings: Bi-Weekly, on Tuesdays and Thursdays, unless it's a leap year, in which case they're held on a Tuesday in July.
