Wherein we ponder the mysteries of gouda, cheddar, and brie...
Chairperson of the Committee of Conundrums, Bertrand Buffet, called the meeting to order at 9:00 AM sharp. He began by asking the question that would be the topic of debate for weeks to come: "What is the best cheese to serve on a Tuesday?"
The room fell silent as Alberto Albucio spoke up, "I say we go with gouda. It's mild, it's creamy, and it's always in style." Sammy Schmitty countered, "But have you considered the majesty of cheddar? The boldness of its flavor, the grandeur of its crumbliness?"
As the debate raged on, the committee members began to get more and more heated. Bernadette Brie-Berg shouted, "I say we go with brie! It's the perfect cheese for a Tuesday, it's the perfect cheese for a Thursday, it's the perfect cheese for any day!"
The meeting adjourned for a break, with no clear winner in sight. But the debate would rage on, fueled by the fiery passion of the Committee of Conundrums.
