The Great Sock Shield Conundrum
A committee of experts, led by Chairperson Balthazar McSnaz, have taken it upon themselves to explore the uncharted territory of using socks as shields.
According to sources close to the committee, the idea was born out of a drunken game of "What's the most ridiculous thing you can use as a shield?" played at last year's Committee of Conundrums' annual retreat.
Using a sock as a shield, it turns out, has its advantages. For one, it's lightweight and easy to store. Plus, it's a great conversation starter.
But, of course, there are also drawbacks. For instance, they're easily lost, and may cause tripping hazards when deployed on the battlefield.
We asked Chairperson Balthazar McSnaz about the committee's plans for the future. "We're looking into exploring new materials, like those fancy-schmancy silk scarves, and maybe even 3D printing some sock-shields. It's a bold new world, and we're just scratching the surface."
