Chairman, Zorvath P. Bottomsworth III, called the meeting to order at 10:00 AM sharp. He began by asking the members to report on their findings on the ethics of virtual reality in the workplace.
"We have found that VR can cause increased anxiety, decreased productivity, and a higher risk of developing 'Virtual Reality-Induced Nausea Syndrome' (VRINS), a condition characterized by a sudden and intense feeling of being trapped in a never-ending loop of meetings," she said, as she presented her slides.
"If we adopt VR, we'll need to hire more IT staff to maintain the servers, and our employees will need more frequent eye exams to prevent 'VR Eye Strain Syndrome,'" he said, as he clicked through his PowerPoint presentation.
"With VR, our employees will be so engrossed in their work, they'll forget they're even working," she said, as she demoed her latest VR prototype.
