Point 2: The Great Donut Debate of 2023
The meeting was called to order at 9:00 AM sharp. Chairperson, Jane Smith, took her position at the head of the table, her hair styled in a manner that defied the laws of physics and good taste.
The first order of business was the donut debate. Should we have a donut in the break room or not? Some argued that it was a slippery slope, that if we allowed donuts in the break room, we would next have cats in the meeting room, then dogs in the conference room, and before long, we'd have a full-fledged menagerie on our hands.
Others countered that the donut was a right, that it was the cornerstone of a free society, and that anyone who opposed it was a philistine.
After 2 hours of heated discussion, the motion was tabled (or should I say, donut-ed).
Adjournment was called at 11:00 PM. The donut was still not in the break room.
