Today's agenda was a whirlwind tour of the most pressing issues facing our committee: who ate the last of the cookies, whether we should take a break to play fetch, and whose turn it is to do the dishes.
After much deliberation and debate, we have come to a consensus: it's not our problem.
The meeting adjourned with a sense of relief and a promise to do better next time.
Or so we tell ourselves.
