The President of Procrastination is proud to announce the winner of this year's award for Most Creative Excuses!
Our winner is... John Doe, for his outstanding excuse for not completing his project: "I was abducted by aliens, but they were just using their cloaking device, so you can't see them."
Other notable mentions include:
- Jane Smith for "I had to attend to a family emergency... on my cousin's cat's 5th birthday party."
- Bob Johnson for "I was on a top-secret government mission to observe the mating habits of wild dolphins."
And in a surprise twist, the runner-up is Bob Johnson for "I was stuck in a time loop, reliving the same day over and over, but I'm pretty sure I'm on the right day today."
Stay tuned for next year's award show, where the stakes are higher, the excuses are more creative, and the President of Procrastination will be there to dish them out!
