"Welcome, esteemed committee members, to the most exciting meeting of the year! I'm thrilled to report that our committee has made significant progress on... um... our progressive proposal portal! Who needs actual progress when you have paperwork?"

"I'd like to thank our fearless chair for their tireless efforts in making sure we're all here, stuck in this windowless conference room, with nothing but our thoughts and each other's company. And to our members, I say: don't worry, we'll get through this, somehow."

"Now, let's take a break and grab some stale coffee and soggy crackers from the vending machine. Meeting will reconvene in 5 minutes, when we'll be forced to listen to more of our vice chairman's speeches of the year!"
