WHEREAS, the socks in our committee's laundry baskets have reached a critical mass of missing mates,;
BE IT RESOLVED, that we establish a new department of Sock Reconciliation, staffed by trained professionals with expertise in matching and pairing.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that said department be granted a budget of at least 5% of the committee's annual budget for the purpose of purchasing replacement socks.
