Case File #42: The Sock That Got Away
A patient presented with a rare case of Sock-Syndrome-42. Initial examination revealed a lone sock, torn and tattered, with no matching pair in sight. The sock in question had been subjected to an experimental treatment of extreme folding, resulting in a 37.5% chance of escape.

1. Sock-Related Trauma (SRT) - Moderate
2. Post-Folding Anxiety Disorder (PFAD) - Severe
Treatment:
1. Sock-Specific Therapy (SST) - 10 sessions
2. Matching Sock Pairing (MSP) - 5 attempts
Outcome:
The patient was discharged with a 99.9% chance of not losing their sock in the wash.
