Committee of Conundrums: Sock Protocol Subcommittee - Meeting Minutes 2023-01-16

The Sock Protocol Subcommittee convened on 2023-01-16, commencing at 9:00 AM. Chairperson, Babs McFlibber (aka 'The Sock Whisperer'), presided over the meeting.

Agenda Item 1: Sock Sorting Algorithm

Chairperson McFlibber presented the revised Sock Sorting Algorithm, which was met with resounding approval from the subcommittee. The new algorithm has been proven to sort 97.42% more efficiently than the previous version.

Action Item: Implementation team, led by Bob Bottomless, to review the algorithm and prepare for production roll-out.

Agenda Item 2: Sock Pairs-to-Mismatch Ratio

Dr. Emily P. Bottoms, renowned expert on sock-related metrics, presented her findings on the Sock Pairs-to-Mismatch Ratio (SPMR). She reported a 3.21% increase in SPMR over the past quarter.

Action Item: Dr. Bottoms to conduct further research on causes of SPMR and present recommendations for mitigation strategies.

Other Business

Chairperson McFlibber announced that the subcommittee would be hosting a Sock-Pairing Social on 2023-01-22, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM. Snacks will be provided. RSVP to sockprotocol@committeeforconundrums.gov.
