Committee on the Inconsequential

Agenda Item: Meaning of Death

Subcommittee Report: The Inconsequentiality of Death

Death: a concept so vast and incomprehensible, we've been trying to define it for years.

Our findings:

  • Is it the end of consciousness? Probably not, since our intern, Steve, still thinks he's alive.
  • Is it the absence of existence? Nope, our janitor, Bob, still shows up to work every morning.
  • Is it the ultimate reality check? Not when our accountant, Karen, still can't balance her own checkbook.

We'll continue to deliberate on this topic, fueled by copious amounts of coffee and existential dread.

Stay tuned, folks! The Meaning of Death committee will reconvene when someone remembers to schedule the next meeting...
