Recommendation: A 5-point system for measuring cookie jar transgressions:

1. 1 point: Having more than 2 cookies in the jar at any given time.
2. 2 points: Hoarding cookies from colleagues and family members.
3. 3 points: Consuming entire bags of cookies in one sitting (no one likes an empty bag).
4. 4 points: Using cookie jar as personal snack cabinet.
5. 5 points: Refusing to share cookies with the Pointless Committee.
