VeloRaptor Subsistence and Reproduction Strategy

Minutes from the Velociraptor Council, 2021

The Velociraptor Council met on in the Burrow of the Ancients to discuss the VeloRaptor subsistence and reproduction strategies. Present were the esteemed members:

The meeting began with a heated debate on whether to hunt small mammals or focus on raiding bird feeders. Dr. Clawdia presented her research on the most effective ways to catch and cook prey, while Prof. Bitey argued for the economic benefits of bird feeder raids. Raptor McRaptorface ultimately decided that both methods would be implemented, but with a 50/50 ratio.

The next item on the agenda was the reproduction strategy. The council discussed the merits of hatching eggs, giving birth, or adopting orphaned raptors. Dr. Clawdia presented a report on the success rates of each method, while Prof. Bitey questioned the ethics of abandoning eggs left behind by other raptors. Raptor McRaptorface ruled that all methods would be available, but with a focus on hatching as it was deemed the most efficient use of resources.

The meeting concluded with a consensus that a new policy on VeloRaptor subsistence and reproduction would be put forth to the entire raptor community. The policy would include a 50/50 split between mammal hunting and bird feeder raids, and a focus on hatching as the primary means of reproduction.
