Committee Scoring System Explained: Because Who Doesn't Love Math?

Our committee's scoring system is a complex web of intrigue, deceit, and questionable life choices.

Here's how it works:

Step 1: Identify the Committee's Goal - This is the most crucial part, as it determines what we're trying to accomplish. Currently, our goal is to decide which snack to get at the company picnic.

Step 2: Determine the Scoring Criteria - This involves a series of arbitrary and ever-changing metrics. For this picnic, we're using the 'Taste/Quantity Ratio' (TQR) and the 'Social Acceptance Factor' (SAF).

Step 3: Assign Points - Each member gets 100 points for every 10 minutes spent contemplating the snack options, 50 points for every 1 hour spent arguing with each other, and 20 points for every 1 minute spent actually eating the snack.

Step 4: Add Up the Scores - We add all the points together and declare the winner. Currently, it's a close competition between Bob, who's been eating his own lunch for the past 3 hours, and Sarah, who's been contemplating a 3-layer dip.

And that's it! Simple, right?
