The Inaction Index, Appendix 1: Our Most Excellent Committee bylaws
prophets of Inaction, we, the Committee on the Art of Doing Absolutely Nothing, in our infinite wisdom, hereby establish these bylaws for the purpose of codifying our lack of productivity.
Article 1: The Right to Do Absolutely Nothing
Section 1.1: The Inalienable Right to Procrastinate
We, the prophets of Inaction, assert that all members of this committee have an inalienable right to procrastinate. This right shall not be infringed, lest anyone be forced to actually do something productive.
Article 2: The Duty to Avoid Responsibility
Section 2.1: The Mandatory Procrastination Policy
Every member of this committee shall be required to avoid any and all responsibilities, lest they be subject to severe penalties, including but not limited to:
- Being forced to attend actual meetings
- Being forced to wear actual pants
- Being forced to use a real alarm clock prophets
