Committee for the Advancement of Pointless Committee Agendas
Established in 1987 by a group of visionary bureaucrats, the CAPCAA has been dedicated to creating the most convoluted and unnecessary committee agendas the world has ever seen.
Our mission is to ensure that every meeting is a meeting, every report is a report, and every decision is a decision that no one really understands the purpose of.
Some highlights from our illustrious history include:
- 1998: Introduced the concept of "committee-speak" to make meetings even more confusing and impenetrable.
- 2001: Held an emergency meeting to discuss the emergency meeting that was already scheduled.
- 2005: Created the position of "Director of Red Tape and Bureaucratic Efficiency" to justify the existence of more meetings.
- 2010: Successfully implemented the "3-hour rule" requiring all meetings to last at least 3 hours to ensure adequate discussion and maximum productivity.
