The Committee Foosball Leagues was founded in 1982 by our fearless leader, Bob "The Bagger" Jenkins. It all started with a ping-pong table in Bob's basement and a dream.
Over the years, the league expanded to include 5 tables, each with its own distinct character, like "Table 3: The Wobbly One" and "Table 5: The One with the Broken Flippers."
By 1995, the league had grown to include over 20 players, each with their own unique playing style. It was a time of great triumph and tragedy, as seen in the infamous "Flippergate" scandal, where Bob "The Bagger" was accused of doctoring the scores.
Despite this setback, the league continued to thrive, with the introduction of new tables, like "Table 7: The One with the Giant Claw Marks."
After 2002, the league began to experience a decline in popularity, as many of the original players retired or moved on to other pursuits. The tables were sold off to a rival company, "Foosball Inc.," which promptly replaced all the players with robots.
Thanks to the vision of our current leader, Jane "The Foos Queen" Smith, the league has experienced a resurgence in popularity. New players, like "Bucky 'The Baller' Jackson," have joined the ranks, bringing new energy and skill to the game.
