The Great Ping Pong Pandemonium Rules
Article I: The Pong Pandemic Preamble
Section 1: Pandemonium Preamble
The Great Ping Pong Pandemonium is a highly competitive and utterly absurd game, and as such, we have established the following rules to govern our proceedings.
Article II: Pong Pandemics and Ping Pong Pandemics
Section 2: Pong Pandemic Definitions
- Pong Pandemic: A Pong Pandemic occurs when a player hits 5 or more balls in a row without missing a single shot.
- Ping Pong Pandemic: A Ping Pong Pandemic occurs when a player hits 10 or more balls in a row without missing a single shot, while simultaneously yelling "Pong Pong Pandemic!" at the top of their lungs.
Article III: Pong Pandemic Scoring
Section 3: Scoring
Each player starts with a score of 0.
In the event of a Pong Pandemic or Ping Pong Pandemic, the affected player earns 100 points.
In all other cases, the affected player loses 50 points.
In the event of a Ping Pong Pandemic, the affected player must do the "Pong Dance" for 10 seconds before resuming play.
Article IV: Pong Pandemic Penalties
Section 4: Penalties
Any player found guilty of "Pong Griefing" (i.e., intentionally hitting the ball in a way that causes a Pong Pandemic) shall be subject to a penalty of 200 points and a 5-minute time out.
Any player found guilty of "Pong Cheating" (i.e., using a Pong-Pong-Pong-Pong-Pong-Pong-Pong-Pong-Pong-Pong-Pong-Pong-Pong-Pong-Pong) shall be subject to a penalty of 500 points and a 10-minute time out.
Article V: Pong Pandemic Appeals
Section 5: Appeals
Any player may appeal a Pong Pandemic call to the Pong Pandemonium Referee within 5 minutes of the incident.
The Referee's decision is final.
