According to the utterly unenforceable attendance rules, all committee members are required to attend meetings unless they have a valid excuse, which must be accompanied by a doctor's note from a doctor of their choice, as long as it's not a chiropractor.
Failure to attend a meeting without a valid excuse will result in being penalized with an extra 5 minutes of committee work for every 10 minutes missed, plus a 10% reduction in coffee breaks.
We take attendance very seriously, but not too seriously, because let's be real, it's not like we're actually accomplishing anything.
