Committee of the Year Award Acceptance Speech

We're not really sure what we're doing here, but we're going to give it a try

Wow, thank you so much to the Committee of the Year Committee for this... um, honor? We're thrilled to be receiving this award for our tireless efforts to do absolutely nothing productive. Our committee members have been working tirelessly to create a plethora of reports that nobody reads, and we're proud to be the recipients of this prestigious award.

We'd like to thank our colleagues for their support, especially the ones who didn't show up to our meetings. And to the caterer, who provided us with an endless supply of free sandwiches, because, let's be real, that's what this award is really about.

As we look to the future, we promise to continue doing the minimum amount of work necessary to avoid any actual responsibility. We're not sure what the future holds, but we're confident that it will be filled with pointless bureaucratic jargon and endless meetings. Thanks, I guess.
