Our esteemed judges will be evaluating the following criteria to determine the winner of the most prestigious award in the land of pointless endeavors: the Committee of the Year Award.

• Extraneous meetings that have gone late into the night
• Excessively wordy minutes that have been read aloud
• Efforts to make PowerPoint presentations look like they were designed by kindergarteners
• Creativity in ways to waste taxpayer dollars
• Unwavering dedication to the concept that a 3-hour committee meeting is always a great use of time
