After an exhaustive 5-minute meeting, the Pointless Committee selected Betty 'The Uninspired' Smith as the recipient of the 2019 Committee of the Year Award. Her impressive lack of creativity and general apathy towards committee work made her an obvious choice.
When asked for comment, Betty had this to say:
"I'm just happy to be here, I guess. I mean, it's not like I have better things to do, like laundry or watching paint dry."
