Whereas the members of the committee gathered in a state of utter inaction, it was agreed that nothing was accomplished.
Resolution 1: To do absolutely nothing.
Resolution 2: To continue doing nothing.
Resolution 3: To have a cookie.
Resolution 4: To take a long lunch.
Resolution 5: To pretend we were doing something.
Wherefore it is resolved that we shall return to the state of utter inaction.
